REOPENING NOTICE

Written by : Dane/ Voiture Correspondent
Decision made by: Bar Management

Club Opening Monday, June 1st. Please read the following prior to coming in:

With the approval of Mason County being classified as a phase 2 area within Governor Inslee’s Safe Start Plan and after review of his guidance titled “Phase 2 Restaurant/Tavern Reopening COVID-19 Requirements” our liquor and business license fall within the prevue of opening under the restrictions outlined in the document and Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 66.24.450, RCW 66.04.010, RCW 314-40, RCW 82.08.0293 and Washington Administrative Code (WAC) 458-20-124.

Our members safety is paramount; we encourage all members to review the various governor proclamations that can be found at http://www.coronavirus.wa.gov to determine your risk factor to decide your comfort level as to whether you should come to the club at this time.

While enhanced safety measures are being taken at the 40 et 8, there is an inherent risk of exposure to Covid-19 in any public space where people are present. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By entering the club, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

It is important to note that the club will look very different during this time. As part of our safety plan, and requirements under opening in a phase 2 environment, we are implementing the following changes:
– Capacity will be limited to 45%, which is under the state’s requirement of 50%.
– Limiting table seating to 4 people in most areas (5 max), with 6 feet of distance between chairs.
– No Table service will be offered; drinks and food will need to be picked up at the bar by members in designated locations.
– Strict social distancing standards will be kept while approaching the bar tenders
– Enhanced disinfecting procedures to be in compliance with Phase 2 opening standards

Initially, our menu will be very limited and we ask for patience while we try to serve you with a limited staff. As we get grounded, we will continue to broaden the menu choices while we navigate through this phase.

‼️😷 Mask shaming (calling out to members that choose to wear a mask) will not be tolerated at any time in the club. Wearing a mask, is not a political statement, but a choice we encourage everyone to wear one that chooses to.

Any member that does not maintain these new standards, will, after warning, not be allowed back to the club until phase 3 or 4 is announced at the discretion of the Bar Manager.

Finally, we also ask that our members pay special attention to the recommendations from the Department of Health from within the Phase 2 approval letters dated May 23, 2020:
People in high-risk populations are strongly encouraged to limit their participation in these Phase II activities and business services. High-risk populations are currently defined by the CDC as:

• Persons 65 years of age and older;
• People of all ages with underlying medical conditions (particularly not well controlled), including:
o People with chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma,
o People who have serious heart conditions,
o People who are immunocompromised,
o People with severe obesity,
o People with diabetes,
o People with chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis, and
o People with liver disease; and
• People who live in a nursing home or long-term care facility.

Hours:
Monday-Saturday – 12pm- 10pm
Sunday – 12pm- 8pm

We will stop serving food one hour prior to closing. Hours may vary, dependent on member turn out, so please be patient as we slowly open and hopefully get back to normal!
